Research & Development (R & D)
Sia R & D is vital – it’s the water, nutrients and sunshine.
It’s purpose is to help Sia and its clients learn and get better. And to do that I focus on five components:
- Selling, Communication, and Value-Creation Knowledge
- Development of Insights
- Continuous Evolution of Sia's CORE Assessment
- Transformation Data
- Sia Researchers
Learning from Others
Except for breathing, I spend more time learning from others than I do on anything else.
In my experience, the value from doing that is only as good as the documentation of what I learned, and in that regard, I am disciplined.
Whether I am learning from a book, lecture, person, in the field, reviewing a recording, or lessons from real life personal experiences – documenting what we experienced and learned has shown to help reinforce that information in our mind and enables us to go back to the experience and relive it, which helps anchor it inside our mind. Furthermore, to me, curating, if organized intelligently, helps us integrate that knowledge to create value for ourselves and others.
Years of consistent, accurate documentation day after day is what enabled me to create the enormous breadth and depth of Sia content and is what continually compounds its knowledge.
Even though my research methods, measurements, and results are private and confidential, in other words, they will not be published, posted or accessible to anyone but myself, know this: every Sia service is built using this research and will continuously evolve.
Sia Researchers
These highly-trained individuals work independently and anonymously by rigorously testing all aspects of Sia's service. I review and evaluate the authentic written and verbal feedback that each researcher provides me based on her/his own experience and opinions. If I find significantly different results are generated using the same insights, I dig more deeply for situation information.
Sia Researchers aim to be exceptional at documentation, story sharing and value creation, which enables them to help fine-tune Sia services.
